SniffMySchema ("we", "us") provides a schema and AI-visibility audit tool, and helps connect site owners with vetted SEO/AEO specialists. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. This page is maintained by the SniffMySchema team and is not an independent certification.
What we collect
- URLs you submit. When you run an audit, we fetch and analyze the public pages of the URL you provide.
- Audit results. We store the generated report so you can return to it via its link.
- Contact and lead information. If you fill in a form (for example to request a specialist introduction or a full-site audit), we store the details you send — such as your name, email, website, and any context you provide — so we can reply and route your request.
- Basic analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying usage data to understand which features are useful.
How we use and share your information
SniffMySchema operates as a lead-generation service. When you submit a form asking us to connect you with a specialist or partner, you are giving us your consent to share the details you provided (such as your name, email, website, and the context you shared in the form) with one or more vetted partners so they can follow up with you. We may receive a referral fee from those partners.
We only share or sell your personal information with your consent — meaning when you have explicitly asked us to make an introduction by submitting a lead form. We do not share audit reports or contact details with third parties for any other purpose, and we do not sell data collected purely from running a free audit.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us (see below). We also use standard service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
What we don't do
- We don't share or sell your personal information without your consent.
- We don't share audit reports with third parties.
- We don't crawl pages behind a login or pages disallowed by robots.txt.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the app working and, where applicable, a privacy- friendly analytics cookie. You can disable cookies in your browser; the audit will still work.
Your rights
You can request deletion of any audit report or contact submission tied to your email. Write to privacy@sniffmyschema.com.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users by email.
